How do I create an account on The Purple Tongue?

On the Navigation Bar, you will find a “My Account” button. Click and proceed to the “register” section. Provide all necessary information – it’s that easy!

Free ground shipping, really?

ABSOLUTELY! If you purchase 12 bottles or more, or your wine order is over $150, the shipping is FREE. This will apply to any state that we ship to, except for Alaska and Hawaii. For orders less than 12 bottles or wine orders under $150, FedEx ground rates will apply.

When will I receive my order?

Typically, orders will ship next day. If your order isn’t received within 7 business days, notify The Purple Tongue via email at support@thepurpletongue.com and we will locate your order.

Can I delay shipment of my order?

If necessary, please include instructions in “Order Notes” on the checkout page. We will delay shipping for up to 30 days.

What is your Return Policy?

We stand behind our wine. If we have not exceeded your expectations, please email us at support@thepurpletongue.com and we will work with you to fix the issue. We do ask that you notify us immediately upon receipt if there is an issue.

Can you tell me more about Shipping?

For your convenience, we use FedEx for all shipments. Each shipment is protected with shipper approved packaging. When your order is shipped, we will provide you a tracking number via email. Regulations dictate that an adult signature is required at the time of delivery to your designated shipping address. Because someone may not be at home or of age, we recommend shipping to a business address.

What if you no longer have the wine I was emailed about or saw at The Purple Tongue?

Unfortunately, the wine may have sold out. All orders are processed “first come, first served”. Please email us at support@thepurpletongue.com to inquire if future quantities may be available.

Can I order over the phone or pick my order up?

Sorry, in order to keep prices as low as possible, all orders or assistance are completed on the site or through email at support@thepurpletongue.com

What are my payment options?

You are able to pay using Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express or Paypal.

What is your cancellation policy?

If you need to cancel your order, please contact us at support@thepurpletongue.com. Same day orders are simply voided. Past that, we can refund your order, less a $25 restocking fee. (The shipping fee is non-refundable for packages that have left our facility.) If you would like to receive credit from The Purple Tongue instead, we can put the entire amount in your account for a future purchase.
